Q. Who is Hugs for Kids?
Hugs for Kids is a family business, created for a single purpose; to bring the art, wonder and love back into the often too commercial world of children's toys, clothes and accessories. Hugs for Kids opened it's first store in 2012. Located in Belgrave, Victoria, Australia, the shop is a specialist children's boutique designed to bring together the best kids products on offer and present them in a single, accessible space. Soon after opening that first "bricks & mortar" store we saw an opportunity to spread the message we believed so deeply and so, being gluttons for punishment, we built this website as well.

Q. Are you stable and secure?
When you buy from Hugs for Kids, you buy safe in the knowledge that we are a "proper" bricks and mortar store. In fact, it is our physical store in Belgrave, Victoria where your online orders are lovingly picked, wrapped and packed by our shop staff. And that is part of what makes Hugs for Kids so special. Q. What sort of products do you sell?
At Hugs for Kids, we bring together the very best baby and children's products on offer and present them in a single, accessible space. So whatever it is that you need; clothes, toys, dinnerware, stationery, baby needs, decor or more, we know we've got you covered.
Q. Who do you cater for?
Not only do we have an amazing range that will satisfy your every need, it will also cover all of your kids from birth to around ten years old. We're not just a baby shop, not just for toddlers and not just for school kids. Boys or girls, we've got something for everyone.
Q. Do you stand by your products?
Our own kids use the products we stock, so do we care about what we put on the shelves? You better believe it. If it's not good enough for our kids, it's not good enough for yours. So when we say we only stock the best brands, we mean it.
Q. What payment options can I use?
You can choose to pay for your purchases via Visa or Mastercard. When purchasing from Hugs for Kids your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology as is the industry standard. You can read more about this here.

Q. What are your delivery timeframes?
Hugs for Kids delivers via Australia Post shipping and delivery services. All orders will be processed and dispatched with 24 hours of payment confirmation and delivery times after dispatch depend on the shipping option selected by the customer. You can view these time frames and more details here.
Q. What are your shipping fees?
You can view our current pricing structure here. We utilise a flat rate for most deliveries and you can check your shipping costs in the shopping cart for final confirmation as to what size parcel your products fits. If you live locally, you can also elect to pick up your goods in-store and save on shipping charges.
Q. Where do you ship to?
At the moment, Hugs for Kids only delivers products within Australia and New Zealand.
Q. Can you wrap?
Hugs for Kids offers gift wrapping on all web purchases. Simply select the gift wrap option at the checkout. We will also include a complimentary gift tag but if you would prefer to purchase a more formal gift card we can then include a personalised message for you. Q. Do you offer lay-by?
No. We do however offer AfterPay as a form of layby. You can shop now, get your purchases now and pay them off in four equal fortnightly payments.
Q. What if I'm not satisfied with my purchase?
Hugs for Kids is committed to customer service. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only. We reserve the right to not offer a refund or an exchange coupon.
