Games & Puzzles

It has long been known that games and puzzles present many benefits for children as they develop.

Children usually start out with simple knobbed puzzles that are outlines of simple shapes that fit into corresponding board cutouts.  From there they go to more complex silhouettes and jigsaws that take more consideration.

Games offer an environment that fosters different skill acquisition.  Basic skill level starts with eye-hand coordination skills and continues to more complex skills such as problem solving, communication and collaboration, strategic thinking and social skills.

Hugs for Kids stocks toys that are designed to be played with not watched.  Toys that are engaging, not enveloping. Toys that require imagination and participation, not passive contemplation.

Let them play. Watch them grow.
