Time for Me

Time for Me

With the new year now More than 10% finished, what have you done for you?

If you’re anything like me you spent the start of January cleaning up after Christmas tiding the house getting organised, going on holidays making sure your children have the best holidays, working on logistics for family and work. what about you?

This year I have made a commitment to myself to doing something just for me every single week! I have a list of loads of different things that I would like to try and I will do before the 2022.

I have just completed a six week pottery course, since high school have wanted to try a potters wheel. I have loved having time every week just for me, I’m not back from Hugs For Kids, I’m not my children’s mum, I’m not my husband’s wife, I’m just me doing something that I want to do. It’s been fun, challenging and incredibly rewarding.

If you’re not doing anything then I challenge you to take time for you every week. Be organised, make sure you block out that time in your diary, you arrange for somebody else to care for the children and most importantly you make that time for you not negotiable!

We always do everything we need for our children we get them to their activities on time, we take them to the doctors if they need it, we arrange for all of their needs to be met every single week, add in one thing at minimum for you and make it not negotiable.

Sending all of the amazing parents out there loads of love and hugs, I would love to hear what you’re doing just for you!
