Cyanotype Starter Kit

Discover the magical art of cyanotype printing!

This activity is inspired by a process borrowed from photography: cyanotype. Using opaque patterns and natural elements of their choice, the child creates scenes on photosensitive paper. After exposure to the sun, the paper is marked with negative patterns. Simply rinse the paper in a bath of clear water, and the scene reveals itself against a blue background!

This starter kit contains eight sheets of photo-sensitive paper and everything you need to discover the art of cyanotype printing.
