Pony Club is about much more than just riding – Lottie learns about caring for a horse too, and studies for achievement badges covering subjects like feeding, equipment, pony behaviour and grooming.
As well as trying to improve her riding, Lottie makes new friends who share her love of ponies. It’s always good fun; some days are themed with treasure hunts, treat making for ponies and lots of other pony activities.
Lottie is a feisty character; she can stand on her own two feet and whilst she occasionally makes mistakes, she learns from them. She is not perfect. Lottie loves adventure and the outdoors and uses her imagination.
In many ways, she is inspired by the spirited female characters in books we loved as children: Anne of Green Gables, Pippi Longstocking, Jo in ‘Little Women’, Nancy Drew and George in the ‘Famous Five’.

- Seren the Welsh Mountain Pony wears a saddle, bridle, stirrups and numnah (a saddle pad that acts as a protective cushion between the pony and the saddle)
Our vision is to empower children to be themselves. Lottie aims to encourage kids to embrace individuality, enjoy their childhood and embark on meaningful adventures!
Unlike other dolls, Lottie is based on characters that are nine years of age. Lottie is relatable, age-appropriate and fun, with many of the dolls and accessories from the collection being inspired by real girls.
