Baltic Amber beads are made from a fossilised tree resin that dates back millions of years.
This substance is unique to the Baltic region of Eastern Europe. Handcrafted by local Lithuanian artisans, these beads are knotted onto a strong wax cord and fitted with a breakaway pop clasp for safety.
Anecdotal evidence strongly suggests that Baltic Amber releases succinic acid when worn against the warmth of the skin, which has been claimed to help relieve pain and discomfort associated with teething, colic, skin conditions and inflammation.
